On the weekend of April 12, 2025, we participated in one of the major cynological events in Europe, the European Dog Show, which this time took place in the Czech Republic, directly in Brno.

When I read in the catalogue which top breeders would come to present their dogs, I was very happy. Seeing the famous names of breeders from: Finland, France, Italy, Bosnia, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, Belarus, Slovakia, Austria and a few of us from the Czech Republic. But on the contrary, it crossed my mind, where are all the Czech champions, grand champions and other titled dogs who are here to improve the breed? We have nice dogs of a high standard among us and no one will show them at such a prestigious show? That is sad and a great shame. And not even to look? I met only one PRT breeder who came to look.

You know, it's easy to say from the computer, that one shouldn't have won, that one did... that one is big, that one is small, poppy seed, cottage cheese, etc., but to stand there with a dog on a leash and show it off, have it judged with a mark of Good, Very Good, if it scores Excellent or even Disqualified, that's a lot of courage and determination, I guess not everyone has the balls to do that! Everyone who was there has respect for me, and no matter how they turned out, I congratulate everyone without exception!!
